I didnt run, but I hid in plain site(sort of)
I was walking downtown one night for something to do. I was going down a dark side street, and a cruiser went by. They went up about a half a block and turned around. I was watching them to see what they were up to, so when they turned around I went and stood, sort of inside a pine tree that was there. I guess I blended in, cause they stopped right there and put the spotlight on the tree. They knew I had been right there cause they gawked at me when they went by the first time. They were looking all around to see where I went to, and they kept looking in the tree and all around it with the spotlight. I didnt move or make any sound. And As soon As I knew for sure They couldnt find me, My confidence in my hiding grew. And I knew they would just leave, feeling perplexed as to where I went to. They did, and I waited a few minutes and left, walking a different way in case they were waiting somewhere. I wasnt doing anything wrong, I just didnt feel like getting rousted.

yes 3 times the 1st time i was in a 90 Honda CRX i was delivering pizza and i was really messed up i didn't stop at a stop sign and a cop that was going the other way looked at me and i looked at him and we were going 2 different directions and i turned left onto a little road the speed limit was 15 mph the cop had to turn around and i floored it i was doing 55 or 60 flying around turns i completely lost him and i thought what the hell am i doing so i pulled over it took some time for him to catch up i didn't got to jail i was a fire fighter at the time and the cop lied and said i had my red lights on but i didn't i got 200 hours community service the 2nd time was in a auto parts truck i saw the cop in a school zone and i was speeding i flew past him and he got held up in traffic and i just made a green light and over a hill and i turned in a subdivision and i looked behind me and i saw him going the other way with his lights on i turned around and went another way the 3nd time i got fired at one of my jobs and right after that i do a ticket then later that night i was with my old girl friend in my 90 CRX and i was speeding and i just barley ran a red light and i looked over at a gas station and a pig was getting gas i dropped a gear and gunned it i went down the road and turn on the 1st street i saw i looked back and saw the cop going the wrong way with his light on

Yes. I was the City Cross Cross Champion two years in a row. It was easy. They questioned me since I was running so late at night, when I went to run into the park, they thought I was growing pot back in the sticks... they asked me my name and I didn't give it to them... they asked me my address, then I just pointed to the city lights... they gave me crap about how if I don't give them a real answer then they would take me "down town." (aka the jail office). I said "yeah whatever...." then we walked back to the patrol car, then i took off like a bat out of hell... they tried to run after me, but I was in the best shape of my life - they didn't stand a chance... this is the kind of stuff they would never show on COPS the TV show because they don't show it when people get away.
They immediately jumped in their car and started to drive after me.... oh man, it was so easy to get away.

Yes, once when I was a teenager. At a party, neighbor called the cops. We all ran out when they got there. They chased us for a long time. A small group of us hid under these parked semi trucks. One of the cops shined his flashlight right in my face, I know he seen me, but told his partner, it was all clear.

NEVER had that experience .. just wish they would take seriously the problem with those of us out in the world who are living on the right side of the law and have ex-es that victimize us. I just wish that the police would not just arrest/release, but to actually do a good enough investigation to lead to CONVICTION of these criminal ex-es for once!

Yes about 3 times..one of them was almost a car chase but i quickly went home before they started and they couldnt find me

Yeah. I was young and drunk and loud. And of all freakin' things, they were going to charge me with JAYWALKING. I took off down the back alley. As I said, young, drunk, loud, and stupid.
