Can someone please enlighten me; I've heard that some (or most) people who own ipods have over 4000 songs there. Does that mean they paid itunes over $4000??? that's insane. I'd buy a car with that amount.

Is this really true or is there another explanation? please help.

that is just crazy. who would spend that much and why? could you even listen to 4000 songs in a week and still be able to hear?

INSANE.
not only could you buy a good used car but you could also buy some music to play in it's cd player

I have on my iPod more than 4000 songs but the only thing I paid for was the iPod. I get most of my songs from a program called LimeWire, it’s a program that you download on your computer for free and then you can download any thing from it. Plus, I get my songs from my friends, so if you have 4000 songs it doesn’t mean that you paid 4000$.

Illegally downloaded! Or there are also sites like napster that let you download songs and keep them for a month at a time, which is usually cheaper if you're getting a lot of music. Oh, and you can put your own cds on to them as well.

I have built a collection of cds over the years and all the songs in my ipod library are uploaded from them (bar one song)

I have 4200 on mine.
I have used all of my CD library, most of my friends', downloaded from peer to peer, some from iTunes, and I am now beginning to download all of my old vinyl.

I do not believe I have had to spend that kind of money though.

particularly, you permitting them to replica the archives is illegitimate in itself, yet to fee them takes on an entire new ballpark of criminal ramifications..... dont forget approximately napster and solid `ol metallica.... and that i might propose against broadcasting criminality over yahoo.... they have lots of watch canines working around
