That hasn't been my experience, but maybe they have a harder time in your community because of racist people and they can't play "Mr. Nice-Guy" anymore.

Hi!
First maybe consider that only the most assertive families get to go to America. Second they come from a BARTER economy which is diferent then ours. Every transaction they make is like playing a game of poker in a way. Try to remember this, I used to live in India and Malaysia. I really enjoy their company because they are industrious, usually well schooled, AND friendly in the real sense. Try this the next time you see an Indian say,,Namastey for hello, and the Chinese say, Nee How Ma for how are you. Take this as a special journey of friendship with these people. Trust me you'l find so much joy when you open your heart to someone who is a little diferent then you, and just maybe that person might need your friendship too. Good luck

Different cultures communicate in different ways. It's possible that your impression of them as "mean" may have to do with their communication patterns and how they're being received. I am of Swedish decent, and many people think that Swedes, or Scandinavians in general, are cold and stoic, but that is simply an impression based on the way we communicate.
I spent a month in China, and found them to be very nice people, on the whole. Just a different culture. The least friendly country to which I have traveled was Turkey, btw.

Technically, all of them went by Russia yet no they are not chinese language or Russian. there grow to be a chinese language familiar that needed to map out commerce routes from China to Africa who could have extraordinarily much got here upon united statesa. till now Columbus if his emperor did no longer end him. If that had got here approximately, then the finished west coast and then some could have been chinese language territory.

Very stereotypical! Not true, because many Indians and Chinese people I know are nice, and givers too. I think you just haven't meant the right ones, or you might have been the reason they were mean to you. People are mean in general.

First off, China and India are rising superpowers. They have their fair share of poverty, but the poorest of the poor can't afford to immigrate to the United States.
Second, they aren't more mean or more strict than anyone else. Perhaps it's just their cultural manner that makes them seem intimidating to you? Each culture has its own rules for how to behave.

They're not trying to be mean. It's a different culture. It's how we view the British as being rude, they themselves don't think they're rude, it's just how they act. Many burp during meals but it's not a sign of disrespect, it's to show the cook that the food was good.
Also according to many Europeans America is not civilized. Obviously Americans would disagree, it's all just different cultures mixing.

Well "WiseGuy", its not Indians who r rude. Its Americans like u guys who try to bully others to prove ur fake dominance. You proved that in Iraq, Afghanistan and now in Somalia.
And for ur information, India & China r not poor economies.
China has a GDP (purchasing power parity) of $10 trillion (2006) ,
second only to US , with a per capita income of $7600.
And India has a GDP (purchasing power parity) of $4.042 trillion(Fourth in the world), with per capita income of $3,700.

You have nothing to base that on. As far as I"m concerned, americans exploit people into immoral things, such as pornography. Take your bias elsewhere!
