President Bush can't read or write. A speechwriter did the job and he was darned good. I think that the speech contained 1,450 lies but what the heck! All presidents who give state of the union addresses use the same hype. Did you notice the Senator McCain was asleep?

Presidents are smart and everything but they could never come up with the speeches that they say in-front of the tv.
a speech writer wrote it for him and every other president all the way

Since when have leaders from any country made speeches without the help of a speechwriter? Do you really think they would have the time to write a speech?

Hell yeah! Almost all political leaders have speech writers im their staffs. I believe they are more commonly called as "ghost writers", for their identities are unknown.

I'm not sure but he's used the word, 'resolve' so many times in all his speeches which is getting old and annoying....
