The 80's. The music was stupid - cool, the clothes were outrageous , the hair was ridiculous, but it was fun growing up in the middle of it all.

I think the 60s were fascinating. To see people change from the "Leave It To Beaver" type family into the Ozzie Osburn type family in one decade--what a trip.
Of course bad things happened in the 60s, like three infamous assassinations, Vietnam, etc. but for people in general it was a time of peace. The 70s turned more violent.
