Usually they eat 10 small crickets per day. But depending on the temperature of the enclosure (lower temperature means less eating due to being cold blooded) and size of the chameleon it can vary. I would say that it will take some time to start eating more. He only got it 2 days ago.. they can take time to get used to the enclosure, new home and new people surrounding it. They are easily stressed so give it some more time.

it may't be a large deal yet no longer taking nutrition frequently is unusual for a beardie. First i might want to examine the nice and comfortable temperature, is it warmth adequate? Then it relies upon on what you try to feed it. try a variety of issues. try salads w/ different variety of vegetables. i does no longer feed it lettuce. Lettuce isn't sturdy for beardies. Kale/collard/mustard vegetables, etc are more effective powerful. also try a variety of greens like corn, eco-friendly beans, squash, etc. try wax worms, crickets, superworms or maybe bearded dragon pelets. If it nevertheless received't eat by potential of determination and warm temperature, it would want to be b/c this is below pressure from the flow. yet another threat is that this is ill. If issues do not get any more effective powerful after a week and a 1/2 i might want to then pass to a vet.

I have a chameleon myself and he doesn't eat crickets at all, the only things he will eat are wax worms and meal worms and then he will only eat on average 6 every 2 days. Tell your mate to try it on worms as will it might at more.

How large is it?

In general, as long as it is eating, I wouldnt worry. The problem is when they dont eat due to stress, mostly from being handled to much.

As long as it is eating dont worry, if it is still hungry it will eat more.
