i'm not saying i believe it. it's an assignment, for pete's sake. all he said was to find certain topics and give our opinion on it. that's all.

Yes, Chariots of the Gods by Eric Von Daniken is a good one. Also, there are plenty of religious groups that believe that human life was brought to Earth or affected by aliens, including Scientology (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scientology) and Nuwaubianism (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuwaubianism). I wouldn't suggest that you actually use the wikipedia sites for your assignment, but it might be a good starting point just to get some ideas and basic information.

A good site about evolution is www.talkorigins.org. They have a ton of information not just on the science of evolution, but also on the debate surrounding it. They counter lots of common misinformation that is spread by creationists and people who just don't know any better.

Good Luck!

You could look up Chariots of the Gods. I don't know if it says humans themselves came from space, but it's something like that.

Shoulnd't have too much trouble finding a source about humans evolving.

There is a theory that a reptilian alien race came to Earth and interspersed its DNA into an early humanoid species. It is a theory which is, to say the least, illogical. But it has it's supporters. There's a link to Wikipedia below.

Evolution can be sourced at www.talkorigins.com

Best source looking for hypothesis around space/alien seeding the life and soul in humans is Denikan's book Chariots of god.

Evolution? Once the court rules in favor of human evolved and not child of god as per bible. :-)

There is a theory that the amino acids formed in comets are the origins of life on earth. If you're refering to humanoid life arriving here, looks up the works of Erik Van Daniken (not sure of spelling)

If you're looking for a truth, you won't find it.

If you want it just in order to do your assignment, go to
Google Search. You'll find plenty of quacks who have
sites about the stuff.

There is a WORLD of difference between evolution and ADAPTATION. We only have hard evidence of adaptation. That's all that can actually be proved. Evolution is an UNPROVEN THEORY. Period. Think about it. Thousands of species, and NO proven evolution. Not once. Ever.
Why would anyone go to such lengths to promote so much misinformation? It's ALWAYS all about the money. Think about what would be different--and would not be sold--if everyone accepted the reality of GOD, and didn't go after their own little piece of self-defined happiness.
Divide and conquer. I'm not going to say who is doing it. The clues are there for you to figure it out. Just ask yourself who benefits from devisivness and contention.
You seem to honestly be seeking answers, so best of luck.
