As far as i know the Signature @ MGM Grand is not located on the strip and it is the newest property of MGM. Would anyone who had stayed there before be kindly share some experiences? Especially the distance from The Signature to the center of the strip. Is it really a very long walk? How bad is it then?

The Signature is actually a separate building behind the MGM. It takes about 10 minutes just to get to the front of the MGM on the Vegas Strip side.
Then - it is about a 20 minute walk to the center of the strip Caesars - Bally's etc. Maybe more if there are alot of people. The walk is not bad - I've done it many times. In fact I stayed at the MGM this last November. You can also take the monorail from the MGM to Ballys to save time.
I think it costs $5 a trip - or you can buy a daily or weekly pass.

Have fun - Good Luck !!!

I stayed at the Signature and it was beautiful. I disagree with the $15 a day for bottled water and newspaper, and internet access, but may over time they will relax that option. Take a look at www.tripadvisor.com for more reviews. The walk from Signature to the Venetian is a nice one. It takes about 15 minutes to get through MGM, but once you have made it outside, you can make that walk in about 35 minutes.

If the signature is part of the main mgm complex then take the monorail as its probably a good hour to walk but the mono starts at the mgm
