Why not go to UN.ORG and I am sure you will be able to get one from the 631 job opening right now. Hurry for the application is only up to February 6th, I think.
Happy job hunting :)

Whoaaaa!

My girlfriend is a Christian Lebanese and she had to endure Dubai and its culture for some months whilst traveling there with her then husband.

The police is supreme in these places. They behave Gestapo-Style.

Women have to be clothed according to very strict rules, rules that are laid out in their equivalent of the Bible. You can't drink alcohol, fornicate, or go whoopee in any other manner, shape or form (I kinda like to ironically use that stupid newtalk formula, it's as funny as "bend, fold or mutilate" used to be) unless you're behind triple locked doors and well connected. Hypocritical.

It's the same as here : if you are rich, you can get away with murder. But over there, if you are a white stranger, and a female ; you are marked, you're dead meat.

Hide!

Woe be onto you if you are a white skinned female and seen in public. All the the frustrated idiotic lowlife Arabic males will zoom onto you, try to shoot you down, and even scream accusations in the street at night under your window. And they seem to believe that they have some kind of right to do so.

Anyway, the cops won't haul them away. They're your problem in an Arab country.

Please understand that if you're a white skinned woman and have a Christian look and outlook, to them particular hillbillies, you're either a prostitute or a target.

Recently, women have been given the right to drive a car in one of their rich little soon-to-begin-to-look-progressive kingdoms. I'm not sure if women can OWN the car, though...

It's like moving to a small town in the deep south where they could string you up for bad behaviour, like in a horror movie.

I mean, you're dealing with people who are one, two or maybe three generations from being nomads who were best friends with camels in the desert, content to move from oasis to oasis all the time.

Give them time... say HI! to a camel while you're at it. I liked his cigarettes when I still smoked.

You have oil? No kidding!

Sheesh!

The United Arab Emirates is one of the most rapidly growing economies in the world, and YES, you can find a good job with a good pay. Women can work there without problems. the only difficulty is the work environment in itself, stressful and not stable.

good luck!
