Hands down the Four Seasons. This place is totally hidden. Guess where it is on the strip........guess!.....On the top five floors of Mandalay Bay! Its pricey but its a must do. Be care full this place will toss you if you don't have a room there...there are huge bouncers by the elevators on the weekends. Other wise they will kiss your butt! Room service fast as lightning! Has the best steak house on the strip! Nice relaxing pool. If you want fun go to the Mandalay bay pools (lazy river and wave pool). Oh if you want good seats by the pool go when the pool opens and they will hold the chairs until you get there. This is a relaxation hotel.
P.S. Most all taxi companies can take you to the hotel

I like Excalibur for the price (pretty cheap) and location (right next to New York New York and MGM, basically). But every hotel has great amenities--I prefer gambling at NYNY, dining at the Parisian, quiet times at the Bellagio, shopping at Caesar's, the free musical entertainment at the Venetian, the garden at the Flamingo.

I've gone to Vegas every year since 1994, and I have three favorites for different reasons:
TI (Treasure Island) because it's easy to navigate around, you don't feel disoriented trying to get from outside to your room.
Hard Rock Hotel - fun, party atmosphere
NYNY - reminds me a little of home. =)
I try to stay at any of these three if at all possible. I've also stayed at Mirage (too crazy to get to your room from the front door!), Luxor (nice, but same issue as Mirage), Excalibur (now is kinda icky.) Riviera (EW. Enough said.)

Excalibur. I loved their magic shows and the place is just so fun. It's not only gambling which is great.
Plus, their buffets were the best!
Oh yea and I can compare it because I've been to Sahara, Flamingo, MGM, and Ceasar's Palace. Ceasar's has great scenary and dance places, but I prefer the magic shows.

I have stayed at Excalibur and Luxor and preferred Excalibur as it is good fun with great restaurants at a reasonable prices. Both have good bars where I kept getting chatted up by hookers (the perils of a man travelling alone)

The Bellagio really knows how to treat a customer. Upper end price wise, but well worth it.
