And if you got it for free - where and how did you do this?

hey rundel_hutch why don't you blow a load in your mother and give her one for free.

I apologize to the rest of the readers of my question but he was just being rude so I must be rude back. I know I could have just reported him but I'm not much of a tattle tale.

OK, first of all, the morning after pill is not taking a life. It is an emergency contraceptive. Contraceptive meaning - prevents pregnancy. So how could I be taking a life by preventing pregnancy? It is not the "abortion pill" which can be taken up to 7 weeks after the pregnancy has occured. The morning after pill is no different than taking the pill to prevent pregnancy, using a condom, spermicide, norplant, foam, sponge, female condom, depo-provera shot, diaphram, and numerous other "contraceptive" devices on the market today. I am not having an abortion, nor am I taking an abortion pill which END a pregnancy, I am preventing a pregnancy. Having said that, if I, or any other woman in America wanted to end a pregnancy, FOR WHATEVER REASON, THAT IS A WOMANS CHOICE!!!!!! Get your facts straight before you come here and chastise me for preventing an abortion because if I did end up pregnant that would be the path that I would choose.

Here it's around $20 at Planned Parenthood, and $45 at drugstores.

Sorry to see all the negative answers you're getting, it's sad that legitimate women's health questions are met with so much hostility.

"the morning after pill" is a series of pills you to take to prevent fertilization. there is no death occurring in this process.

its free when you go to the health department. you will have to take a pregnancy test when the result is negative then you are eligible for these pills but if you're pregnant they won't give it to you because then that will be labeled as abortion.

and last i heard you cant just go the drugstore and ask for the morning after pill you need a prescription from a doctor.

Planned parenthood may offer it for free where you live. Otherwise, it tends to cost around $20-30, last time I checked. I hope that helps.

you can go to some women's health centers and get it for free or at a discount price.if you were to buy it at full price then it's not usually more then $35-$40.it's way cheaper then having a baby :)

I dont want to sound like a rude. And I know I am not really answering your question, but is $20-40 really worth a life? I went through a lot of stuff to be able to have my now almost 1 year old baby girl. She is a blessing and I dont know what I would have done if I would have went through with it. This isn't intended to be negitive, but I would as well as millions of others would like you to think about this and talk with your doctor first.
