If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't worry about being popular as much as liking myself. Now that I'm older, I have found out that most of the really popular people were pretty miserable trying to keep up with their status, never having many REAL friends. It's more important to be happy with who you are and not judge that based on what others think. I'd have rather had a few really close friends that I could truly count on than to have everyone try to be a "friend" just because of my cool status.

Seriously? That's what you want. You need to be yourself. Be friends with everyone. But, in High School you have to dress the part. Have all the trendy clothes. If a may, a little advice: It's great to be popular but, when High School ends, you realize that all those people didn't really matter. You move on to bigger and better things. Just be yourself and have a good time doing it!! People love fun, outgoing people.

Why do you want to be popular? Is it to win girls, inflate your ego, want recognition, no friends, insecurity or shy? You can do many things to become popular but will popularity make you feel happier? If you want to be popular just be yourself. You don't have to do anything to become popular. Just go out, meet people and make friends with them that's all you have to do.

Get a life......
Why is that even important to you? Don't you know being popular is putting yourself in the spotlight? This also means that you have to watch every move you make because others want you to fail. Haters............ Haters...............Haters............ Need I say more? You're creating problems for yourself.

Never appear to be desperate. A little bit of aloofness doesn't hurt, but always be friendly.
