Its ray allen without a doubt......
There is a big difference between Agent Zero and Ray Ray...
Gilbert is a scorer, he makes plays from anywhere on the court...He would rather cross a guy over and dunk it on him...
Ray is a shooter...He runs off screans, gets the ball and shoots..He rarely takes more then 3 dribbles before he shoots...
Ray has the quickest release in the NBA..His shot while comming off a pick is nearly Unblockable...He constantly shoots and makes more 3's then any1 in the NBA...Anything with shooter in it has to go to RAY ALLEN

Right now Gilbert Arenas is leading the league in three-point shooting AND free throws made. No player in NBA history has EVER done that. Ray Allen is really struggling with his shot right now, but he can be thought of as a pure shooter, whereas Arenas is a scorer. Allen and Arenas both take about eight threes a game, and Arenas makes about 39% whereas Allen makes around 36% of them. So between the two of them, the better is Arenas. However, in general the best three-point shooter right now would have to be Steve Nash. He is shooting 50% (!) from beyond the three-point line, and he is also leading the league in three-pointers made. So basically, Nash is the best three point shooter, although Arenas is better than Allen.

Other notables: Jason Kapono, Brent Barry, Jason Terry, Kyle Korver, Raja Bell, Dirk Nowitzki, Quentin Richardson, Mike MIller, Ben Gordan, and Michael Redd.

It's close because Ray Allen's his percentage is higher. However he doesnt take as many attempts and Gilbert can bomb them out from near half court. All in all I'd say Allen.

In response to wess d
Kobe Bryant - 3
Gilbert Arenas - 0????????

Have you seen one game all season or are you just another bandwagon Lakers fan that thinks Kobe is God? Arenas is 11 for 12 on attempts taken within 3 seconds or less. The only time he missed was when he was quadruple teamed on an inbounds pass. Kobe can hit the occasional 3 but he shouldnt even be mentioned in this category.

This season, Gilbert is shooting at a higher percentage, but, I think overall, Ray Allen is better, holding the single season record for made 3 pointers at 269, holds the record for career 3 pointers made at 1,814, and hold the record for most seasons leading the league in 3-point field goal makes, 3 seasons, 01-02, 02-03, and 05-06.

But they're both cold-blooded assassins from beyond the arc.

Ray Allen definitely he lives out in 3 point range and he don't have to feel it or be in the zone to hit them they come natural for him. Now Arenas is the opposite of Ray Allen he's a streak shooter an emotional player if he's not feeling it then he'll miss 2 free throws at the end of a game seven playoff game. Ask me which player I would want and I would say Arenas I want that emotional streak 3 point shooter on my team especially in the playoffs.

Ray Allen is an amazing natural shooter. He has a natural gift for the three pointer. He makes it look so easy. Kind of reminds me of MJ.

Jesus Shuttlesworth, also known as Ray Allen. Gilbert Arenas is more all around skill, while Allen's specialty is the three-pointer.
