Just click on the icon with the thumbs up or down.
Thumbs up is if you feel that the answer really helped the asker. Thumbs down is if you feel that the answer is totally unhelpful.
It's not for an answer that you simply disagree with, or for if you don't like the answerer.
I reserve thumbs down for genuinely awful answers that don't help one bit and don't even try to help.
If you're having trouble making it work it could be a problem with your browser.
Also, you have to be at least level 2 to rate an answer. I see you're still level 1, so you got a ways to go. Stick with it and soon you'll have the POWER to rate answers too! Mooooohahahahahahaaaaaaaaa!

at the bottom of each answer is a little thing called "rate this answer", you click on either the thumbs up or the thumbs down.
