I think you should ask Jesus and Banarama where your path lays. They are both ancient, both gorgeous, and both still being spoken about (even in the backgrounds).
I truly believe someone will love and see you for who you are regardless who/whom you hang out. So enjoy your frienship and realize that someone will see the soul behind your eyes and acknowlege you for who you are.
