The cell wall is the more rigid structure found outside the cell membrane in plants, fungi, most protists, and bacteria.

The plasma membrane (or cell membrane) directly encloses the cytoplasm and is a part of every cell. It's quite flexible.

The plasma membrane determines what materials can enter or leave the cell.

The cell wall is generally the outer protective structure of a cell. Membranes are thinner, can occur within the cell and may allow the movement of fluids.

A cell wall is found in plants; animal cells don't have them. It's there to support and provide structure for the cell. I'm pretty sure boht animals and plants have cell membranes--those are semi-permeable and their function is to let things in and out of the cell.

Cell walls are found around the plant cells, fungal cells and around bacterial cells. Chemically they differ, In plants it is made up of cellulose, In Fungi it is made up of Chitin and in bacteria it is made up of Murein or peptidoglycon. The cell wall provides rigidity to the cells and protects them from the environmental adverse factors.
Cell membrane is the inner coat of cell envelope just inside to cell wall in plants, fungi and bacteria. In animal cells, it is the outermost covering of the cell . It is flexible structure of lipoproteins. Becoz of it the animal cells are flexible. The most important property assigned to cell membrane is that it regulates the inflow & outflow of material for the cell---------called as selective permeability.

cell walls are found in plant cells they are ridged and protect the plant. Cell membrane are in cell membranes they protect the cell. they let osmosis process throughout them. bacteria have 2 cell membranes
