I really cannot understand how a guy can find another guy attractive. I mean i say a guy is good looking but i dont think hes hot. i have never seen a hint of sexual appeal in a guy. I personally think that homosexuality is the product of being a social outcast and in some way a mental problem. If god meant men to be gay, he would have given them both a vagina and a penis.
And if everyone in the world was gay then the human race would have ended a while ago. You cannot find any animal in the world other than humans that practices homosexuality. You are making a choice and i will say openly that i do not support homosexuality at all.

i never cited the animal statement as a fact...animals humping other animals and especially dogs humping humans is the same as masturbation, mostly due to the lack of opposable thumb...

you people are just trying to find something wrong with what i am saying when most my comments are legitimate and you are running out of ideas to try to show me that i am wrong
example:"another point you made that made no sense is that "if everyone was gay, we'd all be dead". maybe that hasn't happened because the whole world isn't gay. i mean, obviously, right? and seeing as not everyone is gay...well, we are instead overpopulating the planet." you misquoted me, i said if everyone was gay then the world would have ended because reproduction is meant to happen some way.... reproductive organs were not made for pleasure, they were made for (what else?)-reproduction
and dont even try to get me started with what the Bible says about it

of course human beings have sex for fun and this is somewhat hypocritical of me to say, but sex is like drugs: they can be used for good, but can also be addicting

studies are showing more and more frequently that homosexuality is not a choice. people are born gay. it's nature over nurture, which means that it has nothing to do with the way you are raised. you're essentially asking if heterosexuality is a choice. did you wake up one day and decide that you were "straight"? i don't think so. and i'm pretty sure that there have been found to be other species that are also homosexual (don't quote me on that, but do some research). and have you ever heard of "asexuality"? i don't mean when a plant or animal reproduces by itself. it is an actual sexual orientation. look into it. it just means that a person is not sexually attracted to other people. now tell me, do you find this hard to understand? it may seem unusual but there is so much evidence out there you can't fight the truth. ask yourself if you would more easily accept asexuality rather than homosexuality, and why. is it just because one doesn't make you as uncomfortable as the other?
i don't see how you made the connection that God would have made everyone a hermaphrodite (look it up) if he wanted to. that really just doesn't make sense. but, ****, if he wanted it that way, he would have made it that way, right? but how about this: if God meant for everyone to be heterosexual, then why the hell did he make some out to be homosexual?? it's all about tolerance and understanding. no one is asking you to change your sexual orientation. you should have an open mind.
another point you made that made no sense is that "if everyone was gay, we'd all be dead". maybe that hasn't happened because the whole world isn't gay. i mean, obviously, right? and seeing as not everyone is gay...well, we are instead overpopulating the planet. don't you think the human race is going to end up dying off in one way or another? so...i just don't see your point in that comment.
by the way, one thing that is definitely a choice is being narrow-minded. you are making the choice not to be open and understanding, and i will say openly that i do not support blatant ignorance at all.

Just as you can't understand how a guy can find a guy attractive, I can't understand how a guy would find a girl attractive. I'm a guy. As far as being a social outcast, I don't think that's the case. I am out in the public and have a lot of friends, etc, etc.
There are many animals that practice homosexuality, there are monkeys that pair up for life, and both are male. I guess they made a choice too.
I know that nothing I or anybody says will open up a mind closed as tight as yours. For me it was no choice. I would have much rather preferred to be straight, I would have stayed married and I would be living with my 2 kids. Yes, Gay men have children too, and I'm a darn good dad.

This question will probably go down with the "Which came first, the chicken or the egg?" I agree with the first answer of who would choose to live their life in a way so many people disagree with, although it seems it's becoming easier with more of the public catering to them more and more, but I digress. But I don't think I chose heterosexuality. It just was. It was never an issue, "Gosh, do I want to like guys or girls?" I have always been able to see women as attractive, but never as a partner. So if I didn't choose to be hetero, why did someone else get the luxury of choosing their sexual preference? I think when people say they "chose" their gender or preference, I think they had a hard time understanding why they didn't fall into the natural mindset of sexual preference for their gender. I do believe it's something you're born with, just like someone would be born with any other chemical imbalance, AND BEFORE ANYONE ACCUSES ME OF CALLING IT AN IMBALANCE, let me just say, it's the wrong balance of male and female horomones. If a male has too many female horomones, they will have more feminine qualities. Some people are able to fight their instinct and either medically have these horomones leveled out, or just live their life fighting their feelings. What society has allowed is for people to express this feeling and it be ok, and to find others who have the same feelings. I have also seen examples of women who were raped or went through some other traumatic experience and to compensate for it, take on very masculine qualities which may or may not include changing their sexual preference.
Now that I have stated what I believe the facts to be based on logic, I will state my beliefs saying I don't agree with it. And before that homophobe term starts getting thrown around, let me say I have had gay friends. I think the people personally are great people, great personalities and so much fun. But for some reason when I see two men kiss, there is just something about it that turns my stomach, although I'm not wild about seeing ANY pda, whether straight or gay. I do believe that experimentation goes on all the time, I think it always has, but I don't think it has any bearing on what your ultimate sexual preference is. I think everyone should be happy and do what they need to be to be happy as long as it's not hurting anyone else. But just because I may not agree with a lifestlye, don't label me. We all have opinions.

Ok, first off, not ALL humans are intended to procreate. If we were, there would be WAY WAY WAY too many of us.There already is.
If everyone in the world was straight, we would all die of starvation after completely depleting the earth's ability to feed us.
Homosexuality is not a choice. You are born with your sexuality.
Every gay person I know came from hetero parents, and very few were outcasts.
Just because you can't grasp something, like how men could be attracted to men, does not mean it is wrong. You are not a god, and your opinions are yours not everyone's.
Humans being the only one's to practice homosexuality is in fact wrong. There are instances of homosexuality in nature, and, believe it or not, there are also species that are transsexual! Yes, fish that change from female to male is the first that comes to my mind.
Animals practice rape and murder, should we use them to define what is right and wrong? I don't think so!
I think homophobia is a mental problem! Learn to be tolerant of your fellow man, asshole. They aren't hurting anybody.
If you don't like homosexual sex, don't have any. It's that damn simple.

Yes I totally agree with you.Yes I also dont understand how a guy can find another guy sexually attractive.I mean if a guy is good looking I say he is good looking or looks smart. But cant even think of saying he is hot.Yes you are right man.homosexuality is a product of a social outcast and yes it can be considered as a mental problem.
See,Straight sex gives life and thats how we came to this world. But gay sex or lesbian sex don't produce any life.So I think homosexuality is some sort of a mental problem. You are right. If all men and women are meant to be gay men will have a vagina and a penis.Same with lesbians. They are going against the nature.I seriously wonder how the number of gays, bisexuals, lesbians increase in extremely large numbers.
But we have to accept gays and lesbians since they are our fellow human beings.I dont hate homosexuals they cant help the way they are. It's their choice and w e have to accept them.I'm really cool to associate gays and lesbians. They are all humans. We sould feel sorry for them coz of the harrasment they undergo in the society.

you're appropriate we may be able to pick no longer having sex in any respect or interior the worst case have hetero sex purely to keep up a picture even though it particularly is the purely determination right here. The instincts, thoughts, guts gained't replace. There are not any good researches in this all of them ended up inconclusive on both thoughts: those retaining it is an option and the others retaining it is innate. There are some genetic researches although that shows maximum gays have an particular mixture of genes. what's no longer proved yet is why some "heteros" actually have it yet won't be able to settle for gay sex as an option.

If you're going to throw out "facts" - at least make sure you're clued up!! Female lions and hyenas have been known to take on the role as the "alpha male" - even to the point of mounting the other females! Bonobo monkeys have sex for fun (and to settle disputes) - male to male, female to female, and obviously, male to female. So don't give me this "it's unnatural" bullsh!t...
And what's so wrong with slowing down the population growth?? There are still "breeders" out there having tons of kids - look at how many kids Mel Gibson has!!! He's had my quota too, mkay?
Don't worry - I can't imagine finding a guy sexually attractive either. (I'm a girl.) *shivers*

No, it is not a choice. Who would chose to live and have to deal with ignorant people's homophobia?
and by the way, if you think it is a mental problem , that it is NOT a choice, you are contradicting yourself.
And humans are not the only with homossexuality. Haven't you heard of the penguins in the NYC zoo?
PS: What? a mental problem is a choice, because a choice is mentally made?!?!? So, people CHOOSE to have for example Alzheimer?

The content of your question will be answered by many but the underlying reason for the question is what I will address.
All these thoughts you are having and the accompanied fear and loathing are just part of the process of learning self acceptance. They are especially hard for those of us who had a difficult childhood and there was a lack of self acceptance in general.
The body and mind work in many ways and intimacy is not as simple as puzzle pieces. There is the feeling of belonging and a sence of what is fulfilling and desireable independant of sex.
I wish you the best of luck and sincerely hope you find the answers your looking for.

It is not a choice. You didn't choose to be straight, I didn't choose to be gay. It is not a mental issue and not a social problem. There is no god. Not everyone is gay, it's only about 10% of us. All mammals exhibit homosexual behaviours. It is not a choice and if you want to be homophobic then I pity you... I do not support idiocy at all.
