When this country was founded, it was intended to be free of the idiocy of part politics. Happened anyhow. It's time to get rid of both parties. Let us start saying "The Parties Over", and vote outside party lines, it has hurt the country too much, and mainly served to keep the power-mad in power and the people excluded from actual decision making. Time for our over paid, elected employees to be representatives again, instead of self-styled "leaders".

That's a great idea! Let's plan this out...
Start with the Left Coast, er West Coast. We'll make those states Dems to placate all the liberals.
The top border along the Canadian Midwest - Dems. Same with the Northeast.
Give them Alaska too...they worry so much about the wildlife on the tundra that will be destroyed when oil is drilled for.

That would leave for the GOP...Hawaii (gotta have a nice vacation spot)...the entire Rocky Mountain region (maybe give up Colorado if they get too ornery)...The entire Midwest (except for Minnesota, Wisconsin and Illinois) can come along.
The south - the GOP homeland is the Bible belt, of course! The industrial Great Lakes states are no longer industrial - unions are passe - so the GOP will take them (except in New York...the GOP will have to make sure that New York City becomes it's own 'District of Columbia' and joins the northeast Dems - it's beyond repair).

Look the definitions up in the dictionary for both. America is suppose to be democratic (we the people, by the people, FOR the people). Only 1% of america are TRUE republicans, (we the people, by the people, NOT for the people), that's the rich. The rest pretending to be republic are actually taking away their own paychecks, retirement, jobs, ect. LOL. The so-call democratic party we have are actually the "other republicans". Just look at what they voted on. If it's for most of the people, that's a true democrat. For only a few people, that's republican. Look it up.

"truth be told", you have to realize where most of the farms in the US are. Blue States = California, Red States = the entire Midwest. "Liberatopia" would need to import grain from "Conservatown". Same with oil, as Conservatown would begin drilling in ANWAR (as Alaska is a firmly red state).
Luckily for Liberatopia, they would be able to afford this due to their ridiculous wealth. If there were free trade between the two nations, there would be little economic change, only social. Oh, and Conservatown would probably start WWIII within their first 24 hours of independence. So long, Iran.

Maybe even go to the state level and let the STATES decide on a lot of these issues that are dividing us.
What works in CA won't neccessarily work in OH.
I mean we really have got to get this together as it's not looking good for that citizens of this once great country.
