Fundamentalism is the problem, not secularism. You need to remember that secularism is a stance of government, not religion. People want to think that the problem is caused by a lack of religion, but fact of the matter is that religion, Christianity in particular, has been corrupt for 2000 years. Buying position in the church was rampant until the late 1700's, for example. Monotheism has caused more wars, persecutions, violations of civil rights and crimes against humanity than any other cause. Since when is intolerance a family value? You never hear about Pagans or Buddhists or any other religious group having it's members go off with some cult, molest children or bombing abortion clinics. But monotheists do that all of the time; like the Christian-based "right to life" groups, Muslim extremists, Groups like the Branch Davidians, or the folks that followed the Christian cult leader Jim Jones. Secular Government has had the responsibility of protecting everyone's rights equally, without regard to theology, but those that are intolerant of other religions would create more violence and hatred and crime than any thing else. Monotheism ruins the lives of those that are different and would create a climate of anger and fear, just like it did in Europe during the Dark Ages, Middle Ages and Renaissance. You need to study human history and stop asking questions that a little study would answer for you.

No, the country is finally getting back on its feet again, after six years of deficit spending and hatemongering by the Republican Party.
After Commander-In-Chief Hillary Rodham Clinton gets in power, things will get even better, just you wait and see.

Of course it isn't. Bad media is wrecking havoc on people's lives, it is spreading complete disinformation, it is creating a climate of fear and hate. Every news bulletin is another psychological bomb in this Blitz on the mind

What you see now is the children of the 60s coming into power and influence. They cannot live forever, however, and many of the baby boomer ideals will vanish along with them. Thankfully.
