You need to first understand football. It doesn't fall flat on the QB. Football is a team game. Everyone plays a role to achieve a win. It does not solely rest on one person if they win or lose. Maybe you might think that way because you are gullable and watch too much ESPN. Peyton Manning is a key factor, but there were many keys that have helped Peyton to get there. I'm guessing you didn't watch the previous games that got him to the Superbowl, if you did, it wasn't his interceptions in the AFC divisional game...it was his kicker.

Get you facts straight kid.

Sometimes the player that plays a major role in any one game is not someone you would have suspected. There is just no way to know who will get the lucky interception, or who will step up and deliver either a big play or just consistent production when it counts. Watch the Colts running backs for a potential 'major factor' to emerge. Dominic Rhodes in particular has ripped off some big runs late in games when the D is tired. Things like that can tip the balance in a close game.

Peyton will definately be a factor. If Marvin steps up, it will hard to stop them. The problem will be trying to run against Chicago. If they can run a little and get Chicago to start guessing, then the passing will not be so easily detected. And Peyton will find his receivers. All unless he gets rushed all day. I f He does, he will fold like a paper napkin, and the defense will shut down the Colts. So yes Peyton could be the deciding factor to this game.

The Colts have the two best wideouts in Marvin Harrison and Reggie Wayne and a very gaood RB in Joseph Addai should all be factors if the Colts win

your right the win will be his doing and the loss...the same. When you are asked who is the best player in the Colts is you answer Manning, no matter what! So then the person asks who is the next best player and you say Harrison and Wayne, those players can only be good if Manning is good. The bears are a great run defense but their pass defense isn't as good so if the colts want to win then Manning has to win it for them, their running back or their run defense isn't going to win it for them

The fate will rest on Rex Grossman. Yes, Manning is a major factor in the Super Bowl, but he has proven himself to be one of the best QB's in the game. Rex is the one to watch. If he has a solid 2 TD/1 Int/200 Yard game, then the Bears will win. But, if he has one of his inconsistant nights where it looks like he is straining to make every easy completion, the Bears will be screwed.

Just have to wait and see with Rex shows up!

Joseph Adai is going to be a huge factor. He has to get some touches to keep the Bears honest on defense. If the Colts can't get the running game going it is going to be up to Manning to get it done, and that will be tough against that defense.

Manning and the offense are usually the deciding factor. We saw how he led the team back against my Patriots, and their defense and special teams were not so great, allowing long runbacks and 27 points (other 7 were by Manning).

I Don't know bout that. Look the Bears are a good team. For colts, both Manning and Addai are good....I dont think Bears can stop them both so one of them will step up and we will see what happens.
