I am 22 weeks pregnant and Ive been having MAJOR pubic bone pain. My doctor sais that my pubic bone is actually separating and causing my cervix to soften. Is anyone going through this also or have gone throught this? I bought one of those belly straps that hold up my baby from the bone and i think that it's helping but has anyone else had this happen? What ended up happening? Did you go into pre term labor? Because that's what im facing. Thanks for your help.

YESSSS!!!!!! Don't ya just love all the aches and pains that little baby causes!!! I've tried all sorts of stuff and the only relief for me is in the tub or in a pool cause of the weightlessness. But......I can't live in a pool or take care of my kids from in the bathroom so I too, have to suffer through.
My first daughter was born 6 weeks early. My water broke spontaneously and thank God she was as healthy as can be (6 lbs 3 oz.). My second daughter was born 4 weeks early also from ruptured membranes, and she was in great health, too (7 lbs. 5 oz.). I am currently at 34 weeks with my third daughter and my doctor doesn't think I'll make it to 40 weeks. She says I bake them fast. I don't think it has anything to do with the fact that my pubic bone hurts - I think it is chemical and hormonal and that there is no rhyme or reason to it. Babies come when they want to but there are so many aches and pains along the way. And I'm getting a taste of the aches and pains in your heart we moms suffer as our children grow up, as well. Us moms can't get a break, can we!!

I am 22 weeks also and have the same pain. I have the pubic bone pain, abdominal pain, leg cramps and tail bone pain! Oh man pregnancy is fun! I cant tell you whats going to happen because I am just as far along as you are, nothing helps me, but relaxing. I'm glad you mentioned belly straps, I will go get one!

Oh my gosh! Yes! It got so bad for me that I could not even put my own pants on.....I had to switch sides of the bed with my hubby so when I got up, I rolled toward the side that hurt, not away. I actually got induced at 40 & 1 because the pain was unbearable. Hang in there, as soon as the baby comes the pain will go away. I did not go into preterm labor....

I am 23 weeks and I asked my doctor aobut it, it is when I get up from sitting dowm or laying down and I get this sharp pain that shoots to my pubic bone too. She said it was the stretching of my round ligament and nothing to worry about.

I definitely remember that in both my pregnancies. It's completely normal but hurts like crazy. Carried both to 39 weeks and had planned C-sections for other reasons.

Just enjoy all of the aches and pains. :-)

I did with my second baby, and I didn't go into preterm labor. Keep in touch with your doctor and if you feel like you need to see another doctor do it. Sometimes a second opinion helps.

Good luck.
