Maybe he filled out a warranty or registration card for some product awhile back... maybe the call had something to do with politics and they got him off the registered voter list... maybe he made a donation to a charitable or civic organization and they have his name on file and are looking for more money... maybe one of your utility companies sold your information to a third party... maybe this... maybe that... WHO KNOWS!!! I'm sure there are plenty of things he may have done without your knowledge to get his name on some list somewhere.
It sounds like you are suspicious of him, but unless you have another reason to suspect him of cheating I would not let a mere phone call from a telemarketer worry you so much. My goodness!

You should already know the answer because, it is so obvious but I could be wrong. Telemarketers have many ways to get your phone number and his name. Try not to worry about this one incident but, just be aware of what is going on from now on.

Who could have his phone number? Perhaps, he bought something. Many stores ask for your phone number and often sell the data. It only takes one company to sell your info and it gets sold and resold with millions of others. Data brokering is a big business.

So, is there anything you allow your husband to do?
I know women, and men, like you. Try to completely isolate the other person from the rest of the world, and then something like this happens, and you are instantly accusing them of cheating.
I hope he escapes and realizes you are psycho.

They don't....he had to give it to that person, somehow, either that or you supplied it on some form you have filled out in the past. ---Either one of these things, or the government is selling our contact information....
