The only thing he talked was the old story of hijackers freedom and troop expansion,in other words he was singing the same swan song.What do you say?

He focused more on the domestic issues and I'm glad he did that. We needed that kind of emphasis. I do see that as an advantage to having the Democrats in power. It's good to have balance.

When the story of the hijackers is no longer important, we will drop our guard and be hit again. It's something to never forget.

It was a very benign speech with no real substance except for his insistance on another surge of troops into Iraq. Even his fellow Repubs are not supporting him. Sen. Webb's speech was much better.

I agree. One thing i noticed and thought funny was that when the camera went out to the audience they were all sleeping. HA!HA! When it was on Obama (asleep), then on McCain (asleep), then on Kennedy (he too looked to be sleeping). And to think one of them may be our future president. On the other hand though Hillary was wide awake.
