do men not have the power of smell,that they can sit for 30 minutes in that stinch infested smell and read a newspaper or magazine....................yuck i say

lol...great question...how do they do it??? they take forever too. but in the bright side if it wasn't for that they wouldn't even know how to read!!!

Nope. Just in and out. Take care of business. No worries about waiting for me to get out. Hmmm....hair, makeup and now reading magazines and newspapers. I think we're going to need separate bathrooms.

I have done this, but often "mercy flush" for the benefit of the rest of the house.
It's the only time a guy gets a quiet minute away from the whole family and rush of the day, that's the reason, though.

it is the same way women can go to the bathroom and chit chat for a half hour in the bathroom.
Plus I know girls that read on the latrene as well.

I don't know how they can stew in their own stench for 30 minutes, but I have found that my turds come out faster and more effortlessly if I distract myself by reading in the loo.

I have a friend that takes the paper with him but you don't see him for 40 mins. I'm like get in, get it done and get out!

I don't know about other men...but I don't sit there and stew in the stench. I *flush* the toilet, even if I'm not done.

I have been asking myself that question for years? Drop, wipe and flush is my way. and a courtesy flush in between wont hurt either.

it is a peaceful albeit smelly retreat from the wife, the kids, the world. i stay in there until my legs fall asleep.

i think men just want some time alone with no one bothering them..so if they stay in the bathroom for long periods of time, they can use that to their advantage..i dont think it takes them that long to do what they have to do either..
