BMW. They are great cars, and they own their own company. I've had two BMW X3s and I love them! Saab is owned by GM and has become like everything else since the 900 went away. The 900 was a great car. Now they are just like everything else, I think. BMW is unique and a very capable car. The 328i is sporty and fun, while also being built well.

I used to be a Saab technician. I also had a European repair shop going for a while. THis is a tough choice. The Saab is front drive (which is a bit safer in bad weather) and the BMW is rear drive. I would probably get the BMW, since it is totally German, and the Saab, unfortunately, was purchased and by General Motors. Bmw company is proven stable, as are the other German car makers. Parts will always be available, at any age or mileage. And the BMW is a bit easier to work on, since it is straight forward rear drive. GOod luck!

I'd take the SAAB because its way younger and more powerful then the BMW. The BMW is nice but c'mon, a 9 year old car over a 3 year old?

The Saab is newer obviously, and it drives well too. It's more original than the BMW.
