It depends on the occasion, but both are good complements. But I rather be called beautiful because it sounds sincere and can describe inner and outer beauty. Being called hot, by anyone is cool too.

I would rather be beautiful. To me it means smart and pretty. Hot to me means stupid and pretty. Kind of like Paris Hilton.
