yesterday i happened to be browsing through the fbi's most wanted list and came upon the name of James Bulger and i rad more about this dude and found out the Jack Nicholson is porttraying this dude in the movie. But in the movie Jack Nicholsons name is Frank Costello and that is Italian and to me that doesnt make too much sense.

Costello is an Irish name. It's a common misconception for people to assume it is Italian. People think of comedian Lou Costello but his real surname was Cristillo. Also, there was a real life Italian mobster named Frank Costello. His true surname was Castiglia.
