When I first move to LA, I didnt know anyone- let alone lesbians (hell I didnt even now I was) It was the only way for me to grow. Now I'm am cofortable enough w/ myself to make a grand entrance alone. I know know tons of people and am continuning to make new ones-- Im never alone! I like to make decisions for myself, do what I want . DO things on a whim - bounce over to another bar,go to after hours, go home early or take that hottie, I've had my eye on home ;) Try doing that while draggin around a whole crew.

No way! I can pretty much hold my own 99% of the time, but a club? No way. Everyone is drunk and crazy, no one's gonna notice someone drugging you and carrying you out. I see so many guys carrying their dates out cause they passed out or are too drunk to walk. And it's never been questioned, especially if they have a friend with them helping them. How easy would it be for that to be a date rape? And how many couples have you seen fight where she's outta control drunk and yelling at her man to get off her and not to touch her? How would anyone know it wasn't just a spat instead of you trying to get away from someone? And walking out by yourself? Sorry chic but self defense can only get you so far when you're drunk, whether you think you are or not. I know you wanna have a good time, but wait till a friend can go with you. I had the same problem when I moved to a new city, but luckily became friends with this really cool guy who went with me to the bars and clubs (totally platonic) and he was a HUGE help making sure I never went home with anyone when I was too drunk to care and kept the guys from going to far. I HIGHLY recommend it.

I usually go to the sports club by myself. I also go to the table tennis club alone
My wife comes to the dance club with me,

I've learned through personal experience that it can be much more fun to go with friends.
