You can't die from it, but you could start having medical problems because of it. My mom had very severe periods and ended up becoming anemic. You should probably consult a gynecologist and they can put you on medication that will lighten up your periods.

I don't think so, but please check with your doctor. We are not professionals here. I will tell you that I had extremely heavy periods. (I'm 50, and over them now) They lasted for two weeks, and I had to wear a tampon an two pads just to get through the night. Obviously, during the day I could change more often, but still had to wear both tampons and pads. I am sorry this is happening to you. Finally, the doctor put me on birth control pills. He called them ovulatory control pills because they regulated my periods, and decreased the bleeding. Take care, and talk with your doctor.

I don't think you will die, but if you feel your period is too heavy, there are things that can be done. See a doctor.

People say if you lose alot of blood you can die, but your period blood is not the same as your blood from your arm, leg etc.
You won't die at all.

To my knowledge, no one has died from this condition.

You might need to see a Dr. though because it can cause anaemia.
