Out of curiousity which pills will increase the risk of pregnancy the most if you miss them? It's supposedly if you miss 2 but then I also hear that it depends on what week it is as to how much the chances increase. Can someone tell me which week would be the worst to miss the pills and have the highest risk of pregnancy.

Hope you're not trying to trick your b/f into getting you preg, then blaming it on the pills.

Read "tha_cutest_princess" thing about missin her pills on purpose to get her visa. Then look at her questions wonderin why her man wants to leave her.

Okay if you miss two pills, you can take two that day and two the following day to catch up. NO! more than two. The worse time to miss would probably be the week of your menses, that is generally when you should almost be at ovulation and since sperm may stay alive for seven days, the egg and the sprem have a great chance of meeting then. Best thing to do after missing pills is to use condoms or another birth control method until next pack, or you have regulated yourself.

any week is dangerous since you never really know when you are ovulating. Chances are that the week you forgot to take the pill is the week that you will get pregnant. There is a pill called the morning after pill. Or is it the day after tommorrow. Wait that was a movie wasn't it? Anyways, is an emergency pill which is like taking a mega dose of the regular pill. It is not the same as the abortion pill.

The week you would normally ovulate is the worst. It really has more to do with when you are likely to be fertile and ovulate than which pill it is. If you miss too much during the week you would normally ovulate, you'll wind up ovulating and be fertile. However, missing too many at any time during the pack can still have the same results.

You have to talk to your doctor about your specific brand of pill.

The triphasic pills (like TriCyclen) have different levels of hormones for different weeks. But some pills are the same all month long.

Missing in the first or second week is generally considered most dangerous. But talk to your doc or read your pill insert. It's the only way to be sure.
