What's the floor substance? Unless it's commercial, NON gloss vinyl, or some substance initially DULL, why would Anyone WAX a bathroom floor?

It seems to me, in many years of experience that normal cleaning is the way to proceed, and depending on the floor substance IE: Tile, Hardwoods, sheet vinyl, all are easily "cleanable"

Waxing is archaic, cleaning is a life long process.

Depending on the type of flooring that is in there. The best bathroom cleaner is a good quality disinfectant, especially if there is men's bathroom with a urinal. Since I do not know the flooring material you have, you could contact your local janitorial supply store, most of them have outside sales people who are more than willing to come out and look at your floor and tell you the most appropriate means of keeping them clean.

I can only guess if your waxing them then they must be wood. If they are then get a bottle of Mop and Glow, it cleans and waxes all in one. If it is a tile floor then buy the Swifter and use that, its fast and smells nice and does a good job.

Vinegar. It's cheap and cleans/ sanitizes things nicely. I've cleaned houses before and some people requested their floors to be cleaned with vinegar. Now I work in a school and we have used it in the kitchen when we didn't have bleach. Hope that helps. here are a couple of nice websites that list cleaning tips with vinegar. www.vinegartips.com/cleaning/
