Sacramento Radio Station, 107.9 The End, held a water drinking contest "Hold your Wii for a Wii," and a lady died from water intoxication. Of course, most of you know the situation but I just want to know how you look at it.

I read online that the DJ's knew that you could die from water intoxication, and they had heard about a college student who died from it. The DJ's were stupid to knowingly hold a contest that could cause health problems and even death. Plus, I would think the lady who died also knew about water intoxication. So I think both the DJ's and the lady are at fault. The lady because no one forced her to drink all that water.

I as quickly as did a caramel apple eating contest for a super team. We have been given 3 jock sort volunteers. The apples have been on a table 50 yards from the adult males. they had to run down and whoever ate the apple first gained. The seize grew to become into that it grew to become into unquestionably a caramel onion. I nonetheless snort every time I remember that day 30 years in the past. i've got self belief a splash undesirable approximately it despite if it grew to become into extremely humorous. in case you may get the adult males out of the room and clue something of the team into what's taking place they're going to all be rolling on the floor.

The results of the contest were very unfortunate. The lady had no idea, nor did the company that sponsored the contest. All parties were willing, no one had a clue.
It's amazing to me that there haven't been other fatalities during other contests, such as who can eat the most in the shortest amount of time.

I believe that everybody there was irresponsible, I don't know if everybody saw what they said on air that day, it made them sound horrible: like they didn't care. I actually listened to the morning rave every morning and is sad that it's gone however a woman did die with young children. She has a an infant! I have a lil boy and I would not want him to lose me for a stupid game...so I feel for the children...my heart goes out to the families...I can't even imagine.

I don't know all the facts, but I think it was a stupid contest. Not many people believe they can die from too much water, so they would go into it thinking they were safe.
