Updating Warcraft III: Frozen Throne?

Question

I wish to update my Warcraft III: Frozen Throne, and downloaded the patch.

However, all it does is show the command prompt.


Is there anything that I have to do? Or do I leave it there to blink away? It referring to the command prompt thingy that opened.



I'm new to the Warcraft series.

In this case, i think your download stuffed up halfway, so your patch is invalid. Redownload it again

download the standalone downloadable 1.21 patch at

Instead of worrying about that, you should stop playing warcraft altogether. There have been numerous tellings of awful customer service treatment by Blizzard employees.

People who haven't done anything wrong have had their accounts closed perminently. Other people who have cancelled recurring subscriptions have still had their credit cards billed and Blizzard's policy is to never give any refunds.

There have also been many internal issues at Blizzard as well.

The makers of World of Warcraft feel that they have the monopoly on the industry, and they are only looking to make as much money as they can. Do not play their games. You are only going to lose the account you put all your time into.
