Do you give gifts just at holidays , and if so is it because you feel like you have to? Or are you the type to give a gift anyday of the year ?
I'm not much on holiday gift giving, I'm the type that gives a gift any day of the year for no reason but that I want to and hope that it makes that person feel good for that moment... To me that seems more special.

Much like you I give because it gives me pleasure to give pleasure. I feel odd receiving gifts but I absolutely love gift giving I do it all the time. I also like to make people having a bad day or week feel good so I will do some small thing to let them know they are appreciated like sometimes I will bring the secretary at the doc office a hot choc or pay the toll for the person behind me, those things make me feel great because no one expected it : )

I don't give gifts just at holidays. If I really care and love someone I am constantly buying them something to show my sign of affection.

I will give friends gifts occasionally when I see things that they like. I personally feel that it's way of telling your friends that you care and understand them. I also agree with you that it's more special and make the person feels good. I like my friends to do this to me too 'cos I will feel that I am remembered wherever my friends are and am not forgotten even though we are not together.

I give gifts all the time, and I love giving them at holidays as well, but it sure feels better to give someone somthing when they don't expect it.

I would rather get or give for no reason than on a holiday...I do give on holidays, but its more special to give someone something when they don't expect it...Hmm, i think I'm going to send my sister some flowers, thanks for the reminder...

I usually get my special people gifts thru-out the year!Mostly a just-because-I-care thing!Then at Christmas,I go nuts!

Only give on Christmas and birthdays, except to my daughter and grandson who I buy for when I see something I know they would enjoy. I would give to them every day if I had the money. They would both be completely spoilt rotten then.

Whenever I see something I think will another person will enjoy I get it for them. I also send post cards to people when I travel. It's nice to get something in the mail besides the junk and bills.
