100 % and make a budget... And give each other allowances and investments... You two joined into one person one person has one check book or no relation ship... Idea one approves the budget other runs the budget... It all about trust not the money...

I have an account from before that I put about half my money into. He does the same. We have a joint account, too.

We roughly contribute, uh, say about EVERYTHING. Everything goes into one pot in a marriage. The only amount that comes out goes into a savings account at a different bank. Don't do the separate thing, you are one flesh.

We have a joint account in which all of our paychecks are direct deposited. This is the account we pay all the bills from.

we have a joint account but my hubby contributes a little more to it than i do but only because he has a way better job then me and plus i love to shop :)

When people start asking these types of questions, then marriage isn't in the future, people can't trust each other, or the world has become selfish beyond comprehension.
If married couples can't give it all, then they are either selfish or don't trust the other.

all income goes into the same account. ALL INCOME. we are married and that means we are one. unless your older and have large assets that are going to be willed to your kids, all income is in one account.
