I feel that we have become a police state, and that we nolonger have any say or control over our government ~ esp. now since it has come to light that not only can Votes be bought, but legally stolen from the voters. Also isn't it frightening that our government can enter personal property, wire-tap, etc. Spy on any American citizen, only with an alledgement of guilt or wrongdoing? Since when has the People become the enemy of our Own Country? It's a sad, sad day when we must say that we "Love our Country, but Fear our Government." Is anyone of the belief that our government is renagade besides myself? Why won't Congress Impeach??

I think you are going to get bashed on this but it is commendable you speak your mind. I believe you are right about a few things, but we still have time to stop it. In recent news as of 3 months ago Bush was turned down by a supreme court judge for he wanted the judge to give him permission to spy on everyone and the judge said no way, however he was already doing it and is still doing it. He said he has ceded his spy tactics on Trustworthy Americans? Who are they the ones that have green cards or us?
Oh well when he appoints more Federal Judges just like Hitler did he and all his cronies will have their way regardless of Congress. He does know how to play both ends well. Must have learned that one from home. So you see you are almost right.
Next time he wants that permission he will be sitting in front of a Judge he put on the bench and he will get the spy thing in legally.
Fear is the only thing that man knows, and he knows how to play on your compassion and your sympathy and drop all the acclimates in your lap unless you disagree with him. He is buttering up congress right now but wait till the sessions start and watch him work? Good Luck and to whoever said to you why what do you do wrong to worry, tell them to read www.history.com and look up WW II and see how those 11 million people that were executed did nothing wrong either? All it takes is one innocent person knowingly sent to the gallows and they set it up and 11 million will follow if they make those laws stick? Watch out for all those laws and vote, speak out while you can use your freedom wisely my dear.

we havent lost any rights! wtf are you talking about? you been watching CNN or MSNBC too much kiddo? a police state? CHINA is a police state... RUSSIA is a police state... we are NOT a police state.. your starting to sound outrageous. Why are you saying the american people are being ill considered? bush knows 75% of the american people have been brainwashed by the dem's and the media... the remaining 25% of the population know that too. Due to that ... the congress was elected... more morons... Bush isnt being ignorant, hes just ignoring a bunch of childish idiots trying to run the country there own way. when the dem's dont get there way.. they cry more then Peyton Manning about it... theres only 1 commander in chief, not 251...

its pathetic that the intelligent people in america make up the minority of the population, but bush is willing to accept that and take the criticism from the dem's and speak for those intelligent in america... i wish i had that ability.. to just ignore the dem's... i admire him for it.. i sure the heck cant.. thats why im typing this...

Impeach? All this is Bushs fault right? Impeach Bush and all your problems will be solved. He sat right there tonight and told how congress spends more money on them self and not for the people. All the republicans stood and clapped while the democrats sat there pouting. He was saying to stop that spending and give back to the people and again same response. Everything is Bushs fault, some one has to get the finger pointed at. I feel the same about the government as you (i answered your question) But Bush is trying to change it, it looks like the democrats was the ones who didnt like the Idea of the health bill and giveing back to the people. Bush can only do what congress will let him do.

My whole life I have seen the non-representation of the people over the Drug issues turn into the War on drugs and that was where all of these liberties got lost!

Why do we NEVER get to voice our vote on the governments failed Drug policies and get to end the Madness?

It's Called the American Bar Association, and they like the control they have gained just fine, exactly the way it is!

Lawyers Making Laws for Lawyers to prosecute and defend! What a sick Game!

There's been no impeachable offense, to answer your question.
This is still the greatest country on earth. I'd suggest if you don't
like it here, call me and I'll see you get a one-way ticket to
Indonesia, Iran, Syria, or Africa. That would be a real wake-up
for you, my friend. This country has scads of Muslims and
terrorists here, so If listening in on conversations between
Muslims here and Iran, I'd say "get er done". What have you
got to hide? They can listen in on my conversations anytime
and I'm sure they'd be bored, but they don't listen to normal
citizens like you and me to begin with, don't you know that?
They're only interested in spying where they might learn where
the next terrorist attack will occur. Why does that bother you?
Maybe you'll be in the next building bombed. Nope, no need to
fear our Government....they're trying to protect US.

This is one of the best questions yet. Why won't Congress Impeach? Don't forget, God has been tossed out also. Maybe that might have a little something to do with it...

sure we have ,,, and why,,, because we sit on our rear ends all day and complain,,,, but we take no action,, and the politions know this very well... because they follow all election voteing very close...
and another thing the liberal one sided news media will not report on anything good... the news media and politions are doing a good job of putting down america, and slapping us in the face... we had better wake up or one day we may be known as the generation who did nothing ,,,

thank a solider

Based on the abundance of reliable, verifiable information provided on the www.WantToKnow.info website, it appears that there are factions within the world's power elite which desire to exert as much control over the world as possible. Their primary means for establishing control are through promoting fear, secrecy, and polarization, and through distracting people from their deeper purpose in life. As these factions gain ever greater power and control, our freedoms and liberties are increasingly taken away, sometimes without our even realizing it.

Fear is used as a powerful tool of control by these factions of the global elite. "The terrorists want to kill us all. Your job, savings, and retirement are no longer secure. You are either for us or against us. We might be attacked at any time." All of these messages push us towards fear.
And by encouraging us to focus blame on others such as terrorists and "evil" leaders, the global power brokers push us away from feeling in control of our lives and towards the role of powerless victims. The more we slip into fear and being victims, the easier it is for us to be manipulated.

If you aren't doing anything wrong, what are you worried about? No basic freedoms have been taken away. We still have freedom of speech, religion and press. Besides the police have always had the right to enter and search your property with warrants, but with terrorism they just had to change the rules a little.

i agree. congress won't impeach though, because it wasn't just the president that did it. obviously, he did have a hand in it, but the congress before the one we have now also had a lot to do with it.
