There are a lot of solutions;

1) Thriftiness, take in only what is necessary.
2) Bring down the scale to a unbelievable level.
3) Work and suffer.
4) Nazi's ultimate solutions.
5) Eradication of the poverty itself by cultural cleansing. Some sort of a Communism.
6) Start working just to feed you and your family. The rich will do the same in the long run as no one will work for them anymore.
7) And the last but not the least, is to take heed of the poor and kill all the rich or to take heed of the rich and kill all the poor.
