ummm, no...when they lose, we should prepare for another republican president...in fact we should be preparing for it now...unless the democrats can figure out who they will get to run that can actually win the election. All this ooooh a woman president...oooooh a black president....is really a sad waste of time in my opinion, because the country will not allow it to happen. Sorry all, but I have no faith in the openess of the folks in this country, and wish this attempt would have been made in the next election as opposed to this one which is so important and could have been in the bag.
-don't be mad...I would love to see a woman or brown person as president, but I am realist, and if you look around the internet, you will be slapped in the face with the sad ignorance of many Americans.
Oh, and I thought it was the republican candidates that do the take over thing.

IF you mean a hostile takeover by outside forces, I would not worry about it. However, if you mean a coup, then I have some comments.
Regardless of who wins in NOV 2008,,, I expect them to be sworn in on 20 JAN 2009... Regardless of who wins, Bush is out of office come noon, 20 JAN 2009...... That is how the Constitution reads, that is how the law is set up.
If the Constitution is not followed in the legal succession and someone decides the election was invalid or is void, and Bush must remain in office until the "difficulty" is resolved you can bet that I and many other military officers, will do what it takes to ensure the Constitution is followed. This will not be a coup, as a coup is going against the law. This will be support of the law.
Bush will be out of office come noon 20 JAN 2009 regardless of who wins the election. (Now just pray he does not decide to nuke IRAN prior to that.)

First of all, I don't really get into the whole Democrat vs. Republican deal, because I care more about the actual candidate and their beliefs than the political party with which they are affiliated, with that said when you look at the list of possible democratic candidates such as Hilary Clinton, Barack Obama, John Edwards etc....as compared to the possible Republican candidates whose only really viable possible candidate is John McCain...I think the democrats are most definitely going to have an advantage in '08....Most people are dissastisfied with George Bush at this point and usually equate his name to the Republican party, when you combine that with all the drama that has encircled the republican party recently as well as the fact that the Democrats just took the majority in congress...things just don't look good for the Republicans, and personally I am backing Barack Obama...I hope he takes it all the way!

If the Dems lose If?? No way who would do that? Dems already control the Congress they really do not need the president to be Dem, they can veto all his bills? you know what I mean?
That is why Baby Bush is coming around telling ya'll what you want to hear because he knows he has to pucker real hard now to get anything passed in Congress, especially this fatal attempt at getting us to spend more money on this hideous war? Good luck

I am here today, this is the only time that I am certain of. now.
What and if happens in 08,09,10.12,13,14 I have no thought or care for. If it is going to happen, it will. If it is not going to happen,it will not, no person living can tell another with certainty that tomorrow it will rain.
M.A.D. Mutually Assured Destruction it still exists , we came up with the stupid plan and we still have the means to carry it out, all it takes is one computer glitch in somebodies office while they are sneaking a round of golf in.

Don't bother. We're screwed no matter what, since all either party knows how to do is appeal to voters, not come up with solutions.

No, because the Republicans are ladies and
gentlemen, not rebel rousers and name-callers
like the uncouth Democrats.
