The question could be better worded. You really want to know if there is any NaOH left after the reaction occurs:
NaOH + HCl -> NaCl + H2O
2 grams of NaOH translates to 2/40 or 0.05 moles
In the solvent, we have 0.05 moles of HCl.
So the reaction should consume the NaOH and there is essentially none left.
