This is what you should do. Instead of "movie night" do a "movie night theme" every Friday or whatever. Like maybe this Friday, "Horror night" and rent horror movies. Next Friday do an "adventure night" and so on. Really get into it. Make the snacks part of the theme you could dress up alittle or what ever. Enjoy the whole night not just the movie.
Have fun!!!

Any Kevin Smith movie: "Dogma" and "Clerks 1 and 2" are all hilarious. Also, since you like "Not ANother Teen Movie", Any of the "Scary Movies" are good (if you're one of the very few people who haven't seen them). As for a good horror movie, the new Texas Chainsaw Massacre movie was pretty gory. And the Descent was alright.
Have fun on your movie night!

These are three guy recommendations from the eighties and nineties. Never a dull moment in those flicks, as far as I am concerned, and you can laugh out loud at key moments without missing a beat.

If the girls are invited then The Notebook. Doesn't matter if you've seen it before or not, it's always good for another go. Guys only though? Probably don't want to do the chick flick bit. Lots of tips in there to learn the art of romance though. Don't forget the popcorn.

Without a Paddle is hilarious! My roommates and I watched it and were crying with laughter.
Spaceballs is another great one! Mel Brooks really knows what he is doing in this spoof of Star Wars.
I would recommend visiting www.imdb.com for more movie ideas.
