OK, so I read about this Polyamory for the first time, sounds....well.......different.

Any women here been in this type of relationship? How did it work out? Did it work out long term?

This is something that has been part of my life and my community since the hippie days. While I do know several people who have tried it, I only know a handful who succeed at it.

The biggest obstacle is jealousy and everyone's ego's. However when it works its satisfying and well worth the effort.

You've got it confused with Polygamy.
Poly Amory (TWO WORDS) means multiple LOVES.
Meaning BOTH the central male/female or male/male or female/female couple BOTH have multiple lovers.

It's not where just the patriarchly male gets to go "from bee, to bee, to bee..." (taking from "The King and I") but BOTH do...and NO they do NOT swap partners at all...ever....that would be SWINGERS.
