Does anybody think they are WRONG? The first man in Memphis who sang "I heard it through the Grapevine" was GREAT! I think we need new judges as they are tired and don't want to be there. They need to love their job and it is clear they no longer love it.

No.

They were right. He could sing but he was off key throughout his song and trying to hold it together through affectation rather than power. In short, he was destined to fail when they get to pick the songs and he has to work with others, so why suffer through his not being able to make the cuts?

He was good but he was a bit annoying is all. I thought that black chick who went off on the camera guy was good too and she didn't make it. But I didn't think the man with the long beard was good at all and he got through. Maybe people sound different on tv because I have heard them say that they look back at the film and they get a different perspective.

I wouldn't have put that guy through either. You have to look at the big picture- is he good enough to go all the way? No. So if they put him through he would be wasting a lot of people's time.

I agree - I thought that guy was great. I really thought the judges would like him too.
