If so, how long did it take you to get pregnant and what method did you use (i.e. IVF, Metformin, Clomid)? Did the doctor tell you to do anything special to get pregnant (i.e. lay upside down)?

Wasn't told that I was infertile just that falling would be harder. Was diagnosed originally in 2000 but I wasn't looking at falling pregnant then so didn't do anything about it. After TTC for two years and numerous tests and procedures, I was all keyed up to start Clomid in two weeks time but I suppose 'Junior' didn't want to wait for that and I'm now 5 weeks pregnant.
I wasn't told any tips but went to a website called bellybelly.com.au It's an Australian web site and they have been great for advice and support.

Good luck

i have been diagnosed with pcos and insulin resistance. i did 5 cycles of clomid. and 7 or so cycles of injectable meds. i did get prenant once, with twins, but miscarried early. i would produce 6-8 very nice looking follicles each time on the injectables, but the insem never took. and my husband's counts were great. i'm sure i'm screwed up some other way. i tend to be the patient that the dr's banging his head against the wall when i come in. as for the lay upside down, no nothing like that or i would still be there if it truely worked for infertility. all i can say is if someone tells you to relax it will happen. throw up on them for me. i keep stating stress does not cause infertility, infertility causes stress. best of luck to you and a fast solution. it can be a long road, and i hope you skip most of it. again baby dust and good luck!

Yes, I did. I had endometriosis. I was told after the 2nd surgery that I would not be able to have kids. That was Oct '03.

I entered into a new relationship and I told the guy that upfront, and he was fine. We got married and just 7 weeks later I found out I was 5 weeks pregnant. No drugs.

--------

My son is 11 months old, the endometriosis is back, and now I have been diagnosed with hyperprolactinemia which I haven't ovulated since the birth of my son. I am now having to go out to a specialist and seek treatment for both to get pregnant.

appears like you're pregnant. I had very similar indications on the starting up of my being pregnant very last 12 months. I did get some adverse attempt previously a good. i become purely 3-4 weeks alongside when I had indications and began finding out.

yes . i was diagnosed with polycystic ovary back when they said it wasnt much of an issue. after my ovary ultrasound they found i had over 12+ cysts on each ovary and prescribed anti infamitory drugs for the pain, by my next office visit 1 month later, i was pregnant. i took them again for my 2nd child and worked then too.

aleve has an anti inflamitory in it but i am not sure it is enough, you may have to ask your doc for a perscription.
