First politely remove their hand. Then I would pull the student aside so other students didn't hear. Then I would gently tell the student that this kind of touching is not appropriate in a school setting. Tell the student it is okay, and natural to be curious about this part of people's bodies. (I don't know the age or mental capacity of the student...if the child is old enough and mentally to be ready to learn about sexuality you may want to be more detailed and clear about sex and sexuality). I would tell the student that it is important to be in a special relationship, and to talk about touching these areas before you act on it. Do your best to not shame the child, while communicating that sexual touching should occur within a specific context (obviously your relationship with the student is not one of those contexts).

Just tell them NO you dont touch people there. Then go talk to one of their aides and explain to them. Depending on their handicap, the aide may need to talk to them or the aide may realize that the "hadpicaped" child isn't handicaped in that arena of thinking so they can tell you next time how to approach it. Some handicaped children may use that just as a angle. I have a child who has a learning disability but doesn't mean he doesn't know whats right and wrong. Bottom line NO ONE SHOULD EVER TOUCH UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE TOUCH MENTALLY HANDICAPPED OR NOT SO TELL SOMEONE.

People that are trained to work with the mentally handicapped are well aware that such things can happen and know how to act in response to such a thing.

haha. I'm still laughing at "danger zone"
But really, they are mentally handicapped so you really shouldn't be offended...unless they do it often. Do they do it often???? Tell them that is a no-no.

If you're a woman then you just gotta let him down lightly and buy him a maximum magazine to settle him down. If you're a dude you should be happy you at least got something, but give her a snoop dog comic book, that'll keep her settled.

Tell him that sort of behavior is inappropriate and highly offensive. Mental defficiency is no excuse for ill behavior.

generally ignore it and walk away.. Attracting attention to the behavior sometimes will enable them to do it again. If it happens again tell the instructor

Politely tell him to stop and explain why it's not right.
If he does it again, lay some smack-down.
