My suggestion is that you sit down and tell him. And you need to tell him what caused you to lose that trust.

If you did something to lose his trust and he decides not to leave, you will have to work hard at regaining his trust, not just by saying you love him, but by showing it. Tell him you appriciate him, and also what you appriciate about him. Devote yourself to the betterment of your relationship. Do things together, spend quality time together.

I know, I lost my wife's trust over some things that I had done, and it hasn't been easy regaining her trust. But I've worked VERY hard at it.

Just tell him how you're feeling. Tell him that because of XYZ, you have a hard time trusting him. The fact that you are telling him means that you want things to change and you are willing to forgive him and move on if things do (hopefully he will get that). As for trusting him again, it takes time. He needs to make the effort. He needs to be truly remorseful first in order to have the drive to stop whatever it is that he's doing to lose your trust.

Be straight with him and also explain what was done to loose your trust. U can't do anything to gain the trust, it's all on your partner to gain trust.

Be honest with him and tell him the truth. Honesty is always the best policy. The best way to gain it back is to prove yourself trustworthy again... This will take time and you will have to ask for forgiveness....

That's a hard thing, but you know what start from the small things that will help. Test him with subtle things to see if he is still trustworthy, but don't be blatant or else he will get suspicious or mad
