Why would Israel attack Iran?
I predict an Iranian attack on a Israeli ship (Flase flag operation of course, Iran would never really do some thing as foolish.) This would lead to a provoked response by Israel, escalation and the US helping the poor Israelis from being attack by these terrorists.
America needs to make sure the oil is theirs before China start making too much ground in the area. THe US admin (rep or dem) will do 'anything' to get it (including attacking the Israelis whilst flying the Iranian flag). If they dont do this, rather than goodnight Vienna, it is goodnight US dollar.

Ha ho ho Who said Vienna Italy? that is funny? Venetia Italy is sinking? ha ha You mean good night Irene don't you? Or Vienna Austria? I don't know bubba? I think if China wants the oil in Iran then Israel might be aided by the fact that Iran attacked them first from the Hezbollah group they were mostly Iranians not Lebanese. So maybe that is possible but I hope not and I don't think Israel wants that heat right now anyway because they really are trying to square things away with the Palestinians to give them their own state and see them get away from the tyrants of war (muslim terrorists ) that have used the Palestinians as pauns and never gave them a dime, Saudi, et al! So hopefully not.

The only proven defense against a nuclear first strike is the capacity for a nuclear second strike. Mutual assured destruction has historically been an effective means for deterrence. Israel probably has nukes. There is considerable evidence of this since the 1980's. Iran will probably develop nukes of their own despite all the sanctions, and diplomatic hand-wringing by the U.S. and Western nations. If Israel bombs Iran, before they develop nukes, it would be difficult to predict the result on Middle-East stability. Certainly, such attacks would further radicalize Iran at a time when Islamic radicalism is perceived as unpopular in Iran, and at a crucial stage when the U.S. would need to deal with a moderate Iran as Iraq further implodes. On balance, it would not seem to be advantageous to the U.S. for Israel to launch a pre-emptive strike. Granting them flyover rights would leave U.S. fingerprints on an operation that it would be to the Americans' advantage to distance themselves from. Bombing without good human intelligence is also fraught with peril. Unless you know all the targets with absolute certainty, and can assure that they will all be destroyed, any airstrike that is not perfectly executed will lead to disastrous consequences.

Israel will attack Iran if Iran gets nukes. But this will be a war that stays in the Middle East.
Israel has nukes, and doesn't need our help. But I think it is more likely that they would use regular weapons to destroy Iran's bomb labs before they can build a nuke bomb.
Israel really has no choice if Iran gets close to building a nuke, because Iran has said several times that they want to destroy Israel by any means possible.

The only way Israel could successfully attack Iran is with A LOT of US military help. And the US would rather do it on there own with their own guys rather than bring Israel into an attack on Iran.

If it becomes a nuclear exchange, it's nuclear winter, fuel and food shortages on a global basis, bad for everyone, but if Isreal gets attacked with nukes, they will take the attackers out, and unfortunatly a lot of innocent civilians would suffer and die who just want to go about their daliy lives and wish that all these clowns on an ego trip would go fight their dual on a desert island with rocks.

uhm, israel could kill iran with 3 people dressed as muslims... havent you ever seen MUNICH?! lol
they have defended israel for hundreds of years, since its final creation.. they havent lost a battle yet.
My question is, why would they ever fight iran?
Israel is like our 2nd half. we are like brother countries. Israel has been attacked by Humas, Iran, Palestine, etc. for hundreds of years.. Iran didnt JUST start hating Israel... the cameras JUST went on Iran hating Israel.. these 4 years are nothing different from 4 years 200 years ago... still being hated by every1 arround them, addored by every1 away from them.. and holding fort like troopers with no backup.
they didnt randomly break war with Iran 50 years ago, why start now?
will never happen sry!
