I am going up Mount Everest (hopefully all the way), this spring, and would like to take up a laptop. The major problem with laptops up there is *not* shock, but heat dissipation. The air is so thin that the laptops have a hard time dissipating heat from the chips and especially the hard drives. Does anyone know what laptops have survived the best up at base camp or higher? Thanks!!
