can anyone pls provide me with a "how to buy asphalt for dummies" guide. i'm looking to buy enough asphalt to patch a few potholes at a time...not a whole driveway....are there any rules? regulations?

Got your message...Call ahead to batch plants before going to the plant...But if you have a Home Depot, or a home building supply store like it nearby, there are a number of good asphalt patch products available for home repairs of potholes and cracks...MUCH easier to buy, transport, and use!
