Forensics deals with the procedures used to find and process evidence in criminal investigations. Think "CSI" where they are always testing various samples of evidence to determine what they are made of, etc.

Forensic Chemistry, or analytical chemistry, applied to crime scene analysis. This would generally include bomb fragment analysis and various other types of chemical residue analysis.

it is like the science that they use on CSI and crime shows...like DNA testing and stuff...using chemistry to help solve crimes.
