You will only make that sort of money if there are that many people stupid enough to send you a dollar. I doubt there are. Don't get me wrong there are a lot of stupid people in the world. This is how these scams manage to function, but they all send their money to the people who started the scam in the first place. So if you want to make money, you have to start the scam off. I'm afraid I can't give you any tips on that as my conscience and I get on very well and I like to keep it that way so I work for my money.

Here are some basic tips which might help you to distinguish between a genuine opportuntity to make money and a scam.

1. if something seems to good to be true it probably is. You can't earn vast somes of money for doing very little unless you are a polititian. Why would people send you $800,000 dollars just for sending out $6? Who just randomly sends money to people for no reason? Apart from you that is.

2. There is no such thing as a free lunch, Somebody pays, there's a good chance it is you. Make sure you know who pays and how much before you embark on anything. If it's you, make sure you like the price. In this case you would pay $6 and the cost of mailing 200 letters presumably asking for people to send you money which most intellegent people will just throw away.

If you need money, get a job, unless you are extremely lucky that's pretty much your only option.

I received a similar letter - I thought what the heck and sent out my 6 $1 bills. Never saw a thing in return. Go figure.

This pyramid scheme is illegal and fake.. Instead you may also look out for an option to work online to make extra cash in your spare time. I am a part time worker doing work online at home, so I would like to share a link where you can make $600-$1500 in a month working at home. The work need to be done is posting/answering a discussion and uploading any photo/image of your interest. For details visit

I will publish few more genuine site in couple of weeks, where you can earn money. You may also write to me at talkofmoney@rediffmail.com (Note: When u are planning for a home based online work, be careful because most of them are scam and ask you to pay initial money. never pay money to any such site.)

I just got one of this letters in the mail...supposedly from someone who is an attorney. Yeah right!!! Can you imagine a lawyer waisting his time on this? This is just another version of the pyramid scam - they go after the elderly and the naive.

See the US Securities and Exchange Commission's website for more info:

I always break chain letters. It's a scam.

Just remember, if it sounds too good to be true -- it probably is.
